My Little Man Ben 10/05/07-04/06/07

« on: January 10, 2010, 01:33:23 PM »

Just wanted to share this with you all.

It's my eldest daughter Ashleigh's 6th birthday next Sunday so she was looking through the argos etc and has decided she would like some jewellary.
Anyway she has chosen, all by herself, and it really took me aback, a silver locket with a picture of an angel on the front, and said 'so i can put a picture of Ben in it'.

I was so proud of her. It's such a comfort to know she thinks of Ben and remembering him without any of my influence or prompting. I've been searching for the right locket for myself for Ben's hair to go in but don't recall ever mentioning it to her.

I know it isn't really an 'issue', but it's one of those 'want to share but don't know where' post x

bless her  , the heart ache we feel is painful enough , and we went to protect our other children from that pain because it's in our instincts  but  times like make you remember , they've lost someone too , they  have a  missing piece  too  and I don't just mean  holly,   all the girls  will always have piece of them missing ,

hope you have a lovely birthday ashleigh and you treasure your locket forever xxx I'm sure you will and I know you'll always love Ben xxx
